Our research

Biotechnology has the power to change how we manufacture medicines, materials, and chemicals, as well as finding new ways to protect people and the environment.

Recognised by the UK Government as a key technology to support a sustainable UK economy, here at the MIB we are supporting that mission by engineering biology for a healthy, sustainable and prosperous future.
